  17. <p>The FBI director gets a failing grade from the Justice Department
  18. </p>
  19. <p>     Federal Bureau of Investigation Director William Sessions is
  20. called "the Emperor" by the G-men who work for him. A scathing
  21. 161-page report by the Justice Department makes clear why.
  22. Sessions, the report says, "systematically abused his security
  23. detail" by dispatching it on errands or bumping it from FBI
  24. planes to make room for his wife Alice. Former Attorney General
  25. William Barr ordered Sessions to pay back taxes for using his
  26. chauffeured limousine for commuting to the office and to refund
  27. nearly $10,000 for a wooden fence installed by the agency around
  28. his house. At a 90-minute Saturday press conference, Sessions
  29. defended his record and blamed the report on "an animus, an
  30. anger, an animosity by Mr. Barr for Mr. Sessions."
